Prof. Enrico Stoll (TU Berlin) will deliver a talk on the topic, "Small satellite research platforms" at IAP colloquium on 14th July 2022.

The Chair of Space Technology at TU Berlin launches and operates small satellites since more than 30 years. With 27 satellites in orbit, it is one of the leading academic institutions in satellite technology in the world. Technology innovations resulted in the development and optimization of different satellite platforms in the range between 375 grams and 23 kilograms. The talk gives an overview of the current applications, such as Earth observation, formation flight, and inter-satellite communication. It further highlights future directions and the opportunities for hosting payloads for atmospheric research.
